OnixS announces certification for the CME FIX/FAST 2.0 update


London: Monday 12th April 2010 - OnixS, the global specialist provider of high performance multi-platform, multi-venue market access data and trading handlers, today announced that the OnixS directConnect: CME FAST Market Data Handler implementations have successfully completed CME TestSuite FIX/FAST 2.0 and passed CME AutoCert+ Certification.

Effective on Sunday, 25th April 2010, CME Globex will update the current market data FIX/FAST 1.6 service and launch FIX/FAST 2.0 in production on a subset of Market Data Platform channels, and from Sunday, 9th May 2010 all CME Globex market data will be disseminated exclusively in the new FIX/FAST 2.0 format.
