Technical Alert - CME FAST Market Data Handler - FIX/FAST 2.0 mandatory update

Alert Issue:

This is supplementary OnixS technical note to the CME customer alerts regarding the FIX/FAST 2.0 CME update.

Effective on Sunday, April 25, 2010, CME Globex will launch FIX/FAST 2.0 in production, on a subset of Market Data Platform channels, and from Sunday, May 9, all CME Globex market data will be disseminated exclusively in FIX/FAST 2.0 format.

The OnixS directConnect: CME FAST Market Data Handler solutions will be re-certified for this update.

Resolution:

FIX/FAST 2.0 will be available for testing and certification in the CME New Release environment Monday, February 1. OnixS will complete certification testing at this time and provide any updated release information as soon as possible after this time.

A normal OnixS release note broadcast will be made when the certification testing is complete, and you may track or set a JIRA Watch monitor directly on the associated JIRA issues for any update alerts:
